(AOL Latino) - Después de entrenar para una secuela de peleas en su isla adoptiva de Puerto Rico, Oscar De La Hoya confirmó que se preparará para Floyd Mayweather Jr. en las instalaciones en Big Bear, California.

De La Hoya calificó la decisión como un regreso a sus raíces, y quiere sentirse como cuando entrenaba para sus combates de título mundial, según reseña primerahora.com.

De La Hoya había completado sus entrenamientos para sus peleas ante Ricardo Mayorga, Mayweather y Steve Forbes en Puerto Rico, donde reside junto a su esposa e hijos.

Apunta su camino de vuelta a California.

El 'Golden Boy' (39-5) indicó que su entrenador, Floyd Mayweather, padre, recomendó que en esta ocasión entrenaran en el complejo de Big Bear. La remota localidad está a más de 6,000 pies (sobre 1800 metros) sobre el nivel del mar. Estas condiciones retan y fortalecen la condición cardiovascular del boxeador.

La revancha contra Mayweather Jr. está pautada para el 20 de septiembre en Las Vegas.

Anonomo: Realmente De La Hoya ya cumplio con su exitosa etapa de Gran Campeon, atravez de varios anos nos ha deleitado con su gran boxeo, su
tecnica e inteligencia; tambien es un buen orientador de la Juventud en el -
mismo campo. Hoy es ademas inversionista en un equipo Americano de --
Soccer (futbol Hispano). A mi modesto entender, debe retirarse con Honores
y con un triunfo, pero no como perdedor; en esta decision tambien debe
utilizar su inteligencia para que la aficion lo recuerde como "UN GRAN
CAMPEON."
