(AP) - Tras recuperarse de errores previos al comienzo del partido, Terrell Owens atrapó dos pases de touchdown, Adrian Peterson hizo lo propio y el equipo de la Conferencia Nacional remontó una desventaja para imponerse el domingo por 42-30 sobre el conjunto de la Conferencia Americana en el Pro Bowl.

Owens fue ayudado por Peterson, considerado el Novato del Año Ofensivo de la NFL, pues acarreó el balón para 129 yardas. Fue la primera actuación de más de 100 yardas desde que Marshall Faulk consiguió 180 y Chris Warren 127 en 1995.
El corredor de los Vikingos de Minnesota también anotó dos touchdowns y el equipo de la Conferencia Nacional supo remontar una desventaja de 24-7 y Peterson se llevó el premio al Jugador Más Valioso.
Ninguno de los equipos se guardó las jugadas de truco, para deleite del público que atestó las butacas del Aloha Stadium, con capacidad para 50.044 aficionados.
Hubo un engaño de patada de despeje, una devolución de patada de salida con pase lateral y varias jugadas en cuarto down.
Una de esas jugadas fue un envío de 34 yardas que recibió Owens de parte de su compañero de equipo con los Vaqueros de Dallas, Tony Romo, que dieron impulso a la remontada.
Antes de esa gran jugada, Owens había soltado un par de pases que le ganaron abucheos.
Sin embargo, posteriormente transformó esos silbidos en aplausos con sus atrapadas y anotaciones.
