SAN ANTONIO (AP) - El técnico de los Spurs Gregg Popovich dijo el jueves que Emanuel Ginóbili "no debe jugar" con Argentina en los Juegos Olímpicos si su lesión en el tobillo izquierdo no mejora.

El argentino se someterá a otra resonancia en tres semanas, pero Popovich indicó que "si no variado nada, yo creo que definitivamente no debe jugar en los Juegos Olímpicos".

Popovich añadió que Ginóbili usará una boata para caminar en las próximas semanas. Su juego agresivo y fogoso se vio mermado en los playoffs, sobre todo en la derrota ante Los Angeles en la final de la Conferencia del Oeste.

Lo siento mucho por MANU GINOBILI, pero si tiene que guardar reposo obligatoria- mente es mejor. Aunque el es duro para aguantar el dolor.
