Mayweather, Sr. quiere castigar a su hijo

(AOL Latino) - Oscar de la Hoya ha tenido peleas importantes contra rivales boricuas de renombre, como Hector "Macho" Camacho y Félix "Tito" Trinidad. Y ahora el "Golden Boy" se ha dado cuenta por qué la pequeña isla ha dado tantas glorias en el deporte de los guantes.
"Es fuerte entrenar en Puerto Rico. Ahora sé porque los boxeadores puertorriqueños son buenos", dijo De La Hoya en una nota publicada por el diario isleño El Nuevo Día.

De La Hoya se prepara para su contienda del 3 de mayo contra Steve Forbes en el Gimnasio Municipal del barrio capitalino de Caimito. La instalación se puede convertir en un horno durante las horas en que De La Hoya realiza su entrenamiento.
Y es su entrenador, Floyd Mayweather, padre, quien lo tiene trabajando fuerte. Un hombre que tiene una inspiración muy especial para guiar al "Golden Boy" hacia la victoria.
Aunque De La Hoya ha insistido que
Forbes es un oponente de cuidado, ya Mayweather parece tener en mente al próximo contrincante del méxico-estadounidense.
Según la nota, Mayweather quiere que Oscar le quite el invicto a su hijo en la revancha que está pautada para el 20 de septiembre en Las Vegas.
Debido a un desacuerdo económico, el viejo Mayweather no estuvo en la esquina de Oscar durante el primer enfrentamiento. Pero esta vez él y De La Hoya limaron asperezas, y Mayweather está entregado a trabajar para darle un castigo a su hijo.
