Se cancela combate de Mosley vs. Judah

México, 8 May (Notimex).- El boxeador neoyorquino Zab Judah se lesionó en un entrenamiento y canceló su combate contra el californiano Shane Mosley, anunciado para el próximo 31 en el hotel casino Mandalay Bay de Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ramiro González, director de relaciones públicas de Golden Boy Promotions informó hoy que debido a la fractura de Judah en un antebrazo se tuvo que aplazar la contienda anunciada en el sistema de Pago Por Evento (PPE).

Judah sufrió múltiples laceraciones en su antebrazo derecho tras una caída accidental que le requirieron 50 puntadas para cerrar las heridas, y por ende quedó imposibilitado para entrenar por cuatro semanas forzándolo a retirarse del combate.
"Es muy desafortunado que este gran evento tuvo que ser cancelado, por lo que se reprogramará la velada en un futuro cercano", dijo Richard Schaefer, jefe ejecutivo de Golden Boy Promotions.
Para los aficionados que compraron sus boletos para la función "Alto Riesgo" podrán ser reembolsados en el punto original de su compra. Los detalles sobre un posible cambio de fecha para la contienda serán anunciados muy pronto.
