            29 abril 2009 (AOL Latino) - Mucho se ha hablado sobre una revancha entre Bernard Hopkins y Tito Trinidad en días recientes. Pero parece que nadie le dijo nada a Hopkins.

            "Escuché que Trinidad quiere pelear conmigo," dijo B-Hop a Primera Hora. Sin embargo, el veterano afirmó que nadie de Golden Boy Promotions ni Don King lo han contactado para negociar.

            "Trinidad es un seguro miembro del Salón de la Fama y desarrolló un legado en este deporte, y la posibilidad de una segunda pelea con él me interesaría," afirmó Hopkins 49-5-1, 32 KOs). Sin embargo, "El Verdugo" también admitió que ya no son los mismo boxeadores que se enfrentaron en septiembre de 2001.

            El padre y manejador de Tito, Félix Trinidad Rodríguez, dijo que buscarían al menos $15 millones por hacer la pelear. Habrá que ver cuánto pediría Hopkins, quien sí se ha mantenido activo a un alto nivel y sigue siendo uno de los primeros cinco mejores boxeadores libra por libra, según la reconocida revista The Ring.

            Pero Hopkins añadió que sus victorias recientes le dan el derecho a llevar la voz cantante en cualquier negociación.
