El Salvador sorprende a Costa Rica

CARSON, California, EE.UU. (AP) - Osael Romero anotó dos goles para dar a El Salvador una victoria de 2-1 sobre Costa Rica el viernes en la doble cartelera de apertura de la Copa Oro.

El equipo salvadoreño abrió el marcador de contraataque a los 20 minutos, cuando William Reyes pasó el balón de cabeza a Osael Romero, quien amagó a un defensa y fusiló al portero Keilor Navas con un tiro cruzado a media altura.

La selección tica se dio a la tarea de igualar el marcador hasta conseguirlo al minuto 64, cuando Esteban Sirias centró el balón al área para que Warren Granados, que había ingresado a los 55 minutos por Froylán Ledezma, rematara desmarcado y venciera al guardameta salvadoreño Miguel Montes.

Ambos equipos buscaron abultar la diferencia durante el segundo tiempo, pero fue El Salvador quien lo logró al minuto 86 de nuevo por medio de Romero, quien remató de frente y venció al arquero tras un rechazo débil derivado de un centro de Reyes.

Horas antes en el mismo estadio, Canadá ganó 1-0 a Jamaica, otros equipos del grupo A. Por Canadá anotó Ali Gerba a los 75 minutos.

Estados Unidos y México son los favoritos de la Copa de Oro, de la CONCACAF, que se realiza cada dos años. Otras selecciones participantes son: Honduras, Nicaragua, Panamá, Haití, Granada y Guadalupe.

que verguenza de mexico ni anicaragua pdia detener y un penalti que jamas x sistio y deverian de jugar mas y dejarlos de afamar tantos es el grupo mas facil nicaragua que es primeraves que participa en una copa de oro y mexico gana con ayuda del arvitro que verguenza mexicanos
