    Nyon, 10 Jun. (Notimex).- La selección inglesa de futbol se colocó cerca del gran objetivo, ir al Mundial de Sudáfrica 2010, al golear al modesto equipo de Andorra 6-0 en el Estadio de Wembley, dentro de la actividad del Grupo 6 de las eliminatorias de la UEFA.

    Los encargados de arrancar a los "hooligans" el grito de gol fueron el delantero Wayne Rooney a los minutos cuatro y 39, el mediocampista Frank Lampard (29), el delantero Jermain Defoe (73 y 76) y el grandote Peter Crouch (81).

    Con el triunfo los ingleses continúan con marca perfecta de siete victorias en siete partidos disputados.

    Inglaterra acumula 21 unidades, seguida de Croacia y Ucrania que tienen 11; con el descalabro, Andorra quedó eliminada del primer Mundial que se llevará a cabo en el Continente Africano.

    Los pupilos del italiano Fabio Capello fueron amplios dominadores del encuentro de principio a fin, incluso pudieron alargar la diferencia, pero la mala puntería, los postes y el arquero visitante Koldo Jesus Luis de Eulate Alvarez lo evitaron.

    Para el "cancerbero" Robert Green, en cambio, todo fue un día de campo, ya que sólo vio las llegadas de su equipo al marco rival. La primera anotación del encuentro llegó por conducto del "niño malcriado", quien de cabeza venció a Eulate tras aprovechar el servicio del defensa Glen Johnson.

    Con la banda derecha como vía de acceso, el conjunto de la rosa anotó los otros dos goles, el segundo se derivó de un buen pase retrasado del atacante Theo Walcott, que fue rematado por Lampard cerca del manchón penal.

    El tercero fue muy similar al que abrió el marcador luego que Johnson volvió a centrar, pero esta vez Rooney, de pierna derecha, agarró el balón de botepronto y lo mandó al fondo de la redes.

    Durante la segunda parte, los ingleses se dedicaron a tocar más el balón con menos revoluciones, suficientes para que el cuarto y quinto goles se hicieran presentes. Un remate de cabeza de Defoe permitió que el marcador se pusiera 4-0 de forma momentánea.

    Bien dicen que no hay quinto malo y ése cayó tras un error de Eulate Alvarez, quien dejó a la deriva un cobro de David Beckham y el mismo Defoe, a bocajarro, empujó el esférico.

    La media docena se dio luego de la falta de comunicación que evidenció el conjunto de Andorra, al no poder despejar del área el balón entre dos defensas y el portero, situacion que aprovechó Peter Crouch para festejar.
