    El 'Tri' sigue en picada según la FIFA

    Miami, julio 2009 (AOL Latino) - Las pobres actuaciones del seleccionado mexicano de fútbol también se reflejan en el ranking mensual de FIF. En el último listado el conjunto azteca perdió siete lugares ubicándose en el sitio 33, donde Brasil es el número uno al desbancar a España.

    En el mes de mayo la selección mexicana ostentaba el lugar 26.

    Los malos resultados que ha tenido el Tricolor en sus últimas actuaciones ha provocado que equipos como el de Estados Unidos, subcampeón de la Copa Confederaciones, ya está en la casilla 12 y Costa Rica, en el lugar 30, se ubiquen por delante de la escuadra dirigida por Javier Aguirre.

    Por su parte, Brasil arrebató el primer lugar de la calificación a España, quien había dominado el ranking por un año sin interrupción alguna. Tras la conquista de la Copa Confederaciones, el 'Scratch du Oro' regresó a lo más alto ante la caída de la Furia Roja en las semifinales de dicho certamen.

    Otra escuadra que se vio afectada fue Argentina, quien no vio acción en los últimos días y sumado a sus malas actuaciones en la eliminatoria sudamericana mundialista, lo que provocó que descendiera al octavo puesto de la lista.

    Uruguay ocupa la posición 20, Paraguay se ubica en la 22 y Chile en la 27, con relación a las selecciones latinoamericanas.
