But Gyllenhaal inhabits her so deeply that you can't help being moved especially when a failed reunion with her child leads to a heroin relapse. The look of defeat on her face is heartbreaking. And surely worthy of some Academy love.
For Your Consideration: Best Supporting Actor STANLEY TUCCI, The Devil Wears Prada Okay, so we all adored Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada. But let's not overlook how Tucci turned the two-dimensional role of Nigel, Miranda Priestly loyal creative lieutenant, into a gay character who was both empathetic and snippy, instead of just another sissy-guy stereotype (like that irksome gallery assistant in The Break-Up). Plus, Tucci made even a plaid suit look good.

Thanks to McDormand, though, Jane never comes off as blunted just amusingly blunt.

estoy 100% de acuedo con harvy35 todo esto es un gran negocio, claro que como mexicana que soy y aparte de eso soy super aficionada del futbol, debo reconocer que como todos los equipos MEXICO, es grande, es un super negocio, todos los comercios se hechan su dinerito a la bolsa gracias a la selecion Mexicana, si, aunque a muchas personas, paises, naciones u lo que sea les duela, MEXICO es grande y seguira siendo grande.
