Pitcher Jeremy Cummings of the U.S. Olympic baseball team warms up during practice in Cary, N.C., Thursday, July 31, 2008. Cummings' career seemingly was nearing its end when he was cut in spring training and his only offer to keep pitching sent him all the way to Taiwan. After finally catching on with the Triple-A Durham Bulls, whose fictional fame on the big screen focused on another career minor leaguer, Crash Davis, Cummings has earned a chance to chase an Olympic gold medal. SI ANALIZAN EL COMPORTAMIENTO QUE HA TENIDO LA SELECCION DE CUBA EN LOS ULTIMOS ENCUENTROS CELEBRADOS, Y LEASE DOS ANOS ATRAS, HASTA LA FECHA, PUEDEN PERCATARSE QUE EL EQUIPO NO ES EL MISMO. SE NOTA QUE HA PERDIDO INTERES EN EL BEISBOL " SANO Y REVOLUCIONARIO" QUE EL CADAVER EN JEFE HA CACAREADO. HAST A DEL EQUIPO JUVENIL HAN DESERTADO, BUSCANDO FUTURO Y SU REALIZACION COMO DEPORTISTAS.
